Your appointment is time set aside for your dog, and a missed appointment is time that cannot be filled at short notice. Please arrive at your scheduled time, as each dog is groomed one at a time and a late arrival delays every appointment that follows.
If you arrive less than 15 minutes late, we will still groom your dog and a $25 late arrival fee applies. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are charged the full price of the scheduled groom.
If a dog does not arrive for a scheduled appointment and we have not heard from you, the appointment is treated as a no show and we are not able to continue booking appointments for that dog.
If you would like to return after a no show, the full price of the missed groom must be paid before a new appointment can be booked, and a deposit is required to hold that appointment.
Every dog must have current rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations on file before being groomed. We may reschedule an appointment if records are missing or expired.
Brushing out a severely matted coat is painful for the dog and can damage the skin. Where a coat is matted to the skin, a shorter clip is the humane option. We will always contact you before changing the agreed service, and additional time and cost may apply. Shaved skin that has been matted can show existing irritation, redness, or sores that were hidden by the coat.
Please tell us about any medical condition, injury, allergy, or behavioral concern before your appointment. Grooming of senior dogs and dogs with health conditions is done for cleanliness and comfort, and carries risk. We may stop a groom early if continuing would be unsafe or distressing for your dog. In that case you will be charged for the work completed.
If your dog needs urgent veterinary attention while in our care and you cannot be reached, we may seek treatment at your expense.
We will send you a notification approximately 30 minutes before your dog is ready. Once grooming is complete, we ask that your pet be picked up within one hour, unless other arrangements have been made with us in advance. Dogs picked up more than one hour after their grooming is complete, or after business hours without prior approval, will be subject to a $25 fee for every 30 minutes of additional care. We will only release your dog to you or to someone you have authorized.
Payment is due at pickup. We accept cash and credit card, and credit card is preferred. Prices depend on size, breed, coat type, and condition, and are quoted before work begins.
We photograph dogs before and after grooming as part of our records. Photographs are only used publicly with your permission.
